Sweet blessed relief!
It took five hours, 262 miles of driving…
Don’t you hate it when you know that something awesome exists, because you’ve seen pictures but you don’t know exactly where it is?
In the end you just have to make an educated guess and go looking…
What’s big, round and hard as stone but has a teeny tiny surprise in the center?
Have you ever felt misunderstood?
Like nobody really gets you and maybe the things you enjoy are so far out of the “norm” that you begin to wonder if there’s something wrong with you?
I admit it.
I’m one of those people who would hold their nose while driving quickly past the Salton Sea, on the way to somewhere else.
Never trust first impressions, you might miss out on a spot like this.
We got lost trying to find this place and ended up driving through fields and questionable towns and all the while, the GPS kept telling us to turn on roads that did not exist…
The saga continues…
Despite the fact that we drove for 11 hours yesterday, we are STILL having trouble sitting still…
We made it!
Here we are, parked in our very first RV camp, Flying Flags Resort in Solvang California.
